Our Sous Chef is responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, by providing professional leadership and direction to the culinary team by ensuring that all recipes, food preparations and presentations meet the restaurant's specifications and commitment to quality. Assisting in menu development
Managing Food & Sanitation standards
Managing Product Rotation
Conducting monthly inventories along with Chef
Organizing and determining the needs for daily prep
Managing and training Line Cooks & Prep Cook
Overseeing preventative maintenance to the kitchen
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
2 - 3 years of prior kitchen management experience
ServSafe Sanitation certification, preferred
Positive Team Attitude – ability to hold self & the team together in ‘the heat of battle’
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
This is a full-time hourly position. Compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications.
