The Gyppo Ale Mill is thrilled to be partnered up with the Cape Mendocino Lighthouse Preservation Society for yet another Pints 4 Nonprofit. This non-profit organization was created in 1997 to help raise money and manage the relocation of the light house. The lighthouse was built in San Francisco, the lantern (glass top) and the lens were built in France and the lighthouse was assembled at the cape in the fall of 1868. Over $4,000 per year is spent operating the lighthouse and the organization just spent 15K to re-glaze all 48 windows to prevent water leakage. Help these folks out by joining us from 3pm to 6pm on November 14th. For every beer drank between these hours, the Gyppo Ale Mill will donate $1. At the end of the night, we’ll tally the numbers, double it and donate that to the Cape Mendocino Lighthouse Preservation Society! Sharing is Caring!
